I now have a much deeper understanding of crafting a training in a very deliberate way, how to structure the objectives and purpose, and ways to incorporate interactive activities to engage the attendees (and a wide range of options for that). Thank you.

Phenomenal

I learned how to write clear and concise objectives that will guide the content’s direction. The Who, what, etc. was a pleasant surprise and has given me a guide of questions to ask when I am asked to present or train again. The examples of presentation title formulas and the handout were phenomenal!

I gained an understanding of SMART Objectives and how important they are to a great presentation or training. Also, new information about how to create a useful and meaningful evaluation/post-test. I am extremely satisfied with this training.

Biggest Takeaway

There are many skills that I have received from the training, but my biggest takeaway are the templates, activities to incorporate, interactive elements to make a workshop or conference multimodal, and how to develop the flow of the presentation.

Valuable

Being less instructor style and adding in a lot more learner – focused. Making the room comfortable, having things to touch, props, breaks, asking the participants to share what their needs are. Thanks for making this a vey reproduceable course. You all modeled exactly what you want us to do.

Lots of techniques

I learned lots and lots of techniques. Techniques on conveying information in multi forms, techniques on learning styles and teaching approaches and how to combine them all into one presentation, techniques on knowledge transferring and really being able to learn application of what your being taught.

Practical Strategies

The knowledge or skills I received from the training included practical strategies for creating engaging and inclusive learning environments, understanding adult learning principles like andragogy, and applying effective communication and facilitation techniques to support knowledge transfer.

Learner Centered

We explored the many ways that participants show up and how to Train, Instruct, and/or Present in a way that meets their needs. Instructor-led, Learner-centered,!!

A few things stood out: are we working the plan? Are we doing only what we like to do and none of the things that we don’t like or are more difficult? and the one that was personally convicting… ‘I know you’re working hard, but what did you get completed?!’ Ouch!
